LG has already confirmed that it will unveil its G-series flagship device – the LG G8 ThinQ – at the event. The Korean electronics giant has also confirmed that it would unveil its first 5G-enabled phone – the LG V50 ThinQ — on the sidelines of the mobile mega-fest. And now days ahead of the launch images of the LG V50 ThinQ have leaked online.The leaked image comes as a courtesy of serial leakster Evan Blass, who took to Twitter to give us a glimpse of LG’s first 5G enabled phone. As per the image shared by Blass, the LG V50 ThinQ comes with a glass body and it sports a curved edge display with a notch on top. The notch in the front would house a dual-camera setup along with an earpiece.The LG V50 ThinQ would come with a triple camera setup with an LED flash at the back, a feature that it shares with its predecessor – the LG V40 ThinQ – that went on sale in India last month. It also sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that is placed directly under the rear camera setup. Additionally, there is a 5G logo at the back on top of the camera setup which highlights how the upcoming smartphone is different from its predecessors.Notably, LG has already confirmed some of the feature that will coming to the LG V50 ThinQ. LG’s upcoming V-series flagship device would run on Qualcomm’s fastest chipset, Snapdragon 855, and it would sport a gigantic 4,000mAh battery, which the company said is 20 per cent larger than the LG V40 ThinQ.advertisementLG G8 ThinQHowever, the LG V50 ThinQ is not the only smartphone that the company is expected to launch at the event. As mentioned before, LG will also unveil the LG G8 ThinQ at the event. And now just days ahead of the launch, the LG G8 ThinQ has received FCC certification.According to a report by My Smart Price, FCC has certified three variants — LM-G820UM, LM-G820TM, and LM-G820QM – of the phone. While the FCC certification does not tell us much about the phone except for the fact that it will come with Wi-Fi 802.11 standard, however, LG has already confirmed that the LG G8 ThinQ will come with the Crystal Sound OLED (CSO) technology that will turn the phone’s display into an audio amplifier. The company has also confirmed that the phone would come with time-of-flight sensors that would improve the quality of its selfies and efficiency of its 3D face recognition system.The company has also given us a list of audio technologies that are coming to the LG G8 ThinQ. The list includes — DTS:X 3D Surround Sound, Hi-Fi Quad DAC, Boombox Speaker and Master Quality Authenticated.Apart from this, the phone is expected to come with Snapdragon 855 processor and run on Android 9.0 Pie. The phone is expected to sport 6GB RAM with an internal memory that can be expanded further using a 2TB microSD card. It is also likely to come with a secondary attachable screen. However, it remains uncertain how the secondary screen would attach itself to the phone.
