CHAFFEY SOFTBALL Junior Jennifer Joy set a Cal State San Bernardino record for career singles wins, but her two-set triumph wasn’t enough as the Coyotes women’s tennis team fell to visiting Cal Poly Pomona, 7-2 in California Collegiate Athletic Conference play. Joy defeated the Broncos’ Jenny Tsai 6-2, 6-1 in a battle of No. 1 players. That gave her 30 wins, breaking the old record of her coach, Heather Lehman Langley.
